Ter-Bear's many visits to getting well!!

For less than 4 weeks we have had Terry in and out of hospitals 5 times.
He had his first chemo therapy session 4 1/2 weeks ago, and that started a string of many many trips to two separate hospitals in the area.

Terry developed a harsh reaction during his chemo session. Unfortunately, this triggered a period of dehydration, and a sugar count of 42. He wound up at Doctor's Community Hospital, located only 3 minutes from our apartment. He spent 4 days and nights there, and came home to continue on the same meds that he has been taking for 4 years. the dehydration was still present.

Two nights after he got home he had a very low blood pressure. He had to go to the hospital to get it brought up because I could not wake him up. The EMT's got a very low reading when they arrived. This time they took him to a hospital which was alot farther away called Washington
adventist, and with his history of heart problems they wanted him to be at the best possible hospital, and this one is consideered the best in heart health problems. He went into Intensive Care for 3 days and they struggled to get the BP stablized. He came home with the same meds he has had for the last 4 years.

About 3 days later Terry was walking with his walker outside and he did not see the step on the sidewlk, and neither did I so he fell down and got a broken ankle from it. He went to emergency by ambulance, once again, but did not have to get admitted.

The very next day we were in our primary care doctor's office and Terry's blood pressure was so low they called 911 and sent him to the hospital for one week. this time however, the doctor took a look at his meds spreadsheet, and decided to do some revamping. Many of the meds were eliminated, and some more adjusted. He seems to be doing much better no, praise Jesus!

He does have a recurrence right now of a acteria staph infection though, called MRSA. He is very infectious, and especially to people with lung disease, like our grandson, Seamus, who has Cystic Fibrosis.

Please keep us all in prayer.
